About Grandpa Joe's Slaberia

Located at 845 S Poplar St #110, Winston-Salem, NC 27101, Grandpa Joe's Slaberia operates as a pizza restaurant serving Winston-Salem in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (336) 293-7677. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is grandpajoesslaberia.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Grandpa Joe’s Slaberia absolutely lived up to the hype. My wife and I tried the Italian Sausage, the Tomato Confit, and the Burrata slabs, and every single one was packed with flavor. The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and airy, and you can tell they care about the quality of the ingredients. And can we talk about the house ranch… or should I say Granch? πŸ˜‚ Whatever it’s called, it’s ridiculously good. I would’ve dipped just about anything in it. The funniest part? Everything was so good that we completely forgot to take pictures before digging in. If you’re in Winston-Salem and you’re looking for pizza that’s a little different from the usual, this place deserves a visit. We’ll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu.

Pizza slab was very good, and service was fast. Bread very good with housemade flour. There is about 6 or 7 kinds of pizza. You buy it by the slab. There are also a few nice salades and a few deserts from Bobby Boy's bakery which has a location in the same complex. Also drinks and cocktails. This place has a soft serve ice cream bar always serving vanilla with a rotating fruit flavor. It can be served plain or with toppings. Inside seating over two floors with a large amount of outside seating . it is in the same complex as Bobby boys, bakery, and Noodle Ju'b. A very nice addition to Winston Salem's eateries. The pizza salb was delicious. It can be served with homemade ranch dip or warm marinara sauce. I chose marinara which went very well with my pepperoni pizza slab. here again service was very prompt and the staff very welcoming.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I was so happy I had my first experience. This is a brand new slab πŸ• pizza place serving delicious varieties of toppings on focaccia 🍞 bread. I opted for the salami, the Italian sausage, and the pepperoni slice. They were all incredible and made me want to try more. They also do incredible πŸ₯— salads here with amazing ingredients πŸ₯¬πŸ…πŸ‹πŸ«œ. I went for the Caesar and it was delicious and fresh with lemon and homemade dressing. I also tried their tiramisu and would 10/10 order again. They also have homemade 🍦 🍨 ice cream. They also have ample indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor seating options, along with β™Ώ handicap accessible seating and 🚻 restrooms.

Beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy the patio. The slab pizza we had was delicious. We got a mushroom and a Burrata. The crust is what makes it And good quality ingredients We also got a Caesar salad, but that was just OK A lot of romaine and dressing, no croutons for $10. Next time we will just enjoy the pizza. We will be back!

Great space with plenty of seating both inside and outside! Some of the pizzas are excellent like the Burrata and the Mushroom. Other toppings like the pepperoni was just okay. Def worth checking out :)
